2016 Lonesome Dove Fest
Texas Hunter Education Instructors Association (THEIA) supports the Rotary Club of Karnes City and their annual event known as Lonesome Dove Fest.  We encourage everyone to come out and join this event to support the club.  For more information check out their website – HERE.  THEIA wants to give Karnes City Rotary Club a great thank you for your contribution to help us educate the youth of Texas.

Brian Hughes, host of the Texas Fishing & Outdoors was
the Dinner Speaker. He is a licensed guide on Purtis
Creek Lake and Lake Athens. He is the host of the
Texas Fishing & Outdoors Show on the Texas State
Networks and is a staff writer the Richland Chambers
Progress. Brian is a member of the Texas Outdoor
Writers Association, past member AmBASSador staff,
Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, Texas Parks and
Wildlife Angler Education Program and certified angler
instructor.

We only took one deer with
seven kids hunting but all
appeared to have a good time
other than it got " rather cool "
( on Thur. night it got down to
24 with a heavy frost on the
pumpkin ! )we did have kids
passing shots on does waiting
on bucks .
